I know a lot of people use crowd funding sites to finance their dream film or "passion project." This is not that. We are not making an artsy film to woo crowds and make names for ourselves. We believe God has placed in each of us a heavy heart for the issue of modern day slavery, specifically here in America. So we are jumping into this with the knowledge that HE will bring the right group together and make it happen in HIS timing.
Let me be clear. Our goal is NOT to make money on this project so any contributions will not be paid back as they would in a “Hollywood” type film. Rather our goal is to show people how serious and close to home sex slavery is and to charge them to be on the lookout.
We are currently in the "Development Phase" of production, which is the phase of writing the screenplay, hiring dept. heads and securing financing for the next phase of production; Pre-Production.
Pre-Production is where we prepare for shooting the film. It spans from casting to set construction, booking flights and hotels to securing meals for all the cast and crew on set. It is a CRUCIAL phase of the filmmaking process that requires the full attention of the dept. heads. It is also where we will lock down locations and create the shooting schedule.
Once we get everything prepared we are ready for Production. This phase is the most expensive and is a non-stop steamroller of the crew running around trying everything in their power to get everything in the script shot. It is the most fun though.
After the Production phase comes Post-Production. This is the phase where we will edit the film, write and record the ORIGINAL SCORE, color grade and sound design. All of these aspects demand tedious attention. It is where the film really comes together.
Once the film is done, we will be spending most of our time trying to give it away to churches, school and other avenue's for mass viewing. This will help get the word out and give people a chance to see the truth about modern day slavery here in their own home town.
We are providing the film to every single person for FREE! It will be available for online download as well as DVD/Blu Ray's for more rural establishments with less internet access. Our heart is for everyone to be able to see this film in order to awaken them to the sex slavery that is going on all around us.
So please consider helping us on our journey by either giving financially or that of yourself to help us get this film going. We have many positions that will need filling so if you would like to work on the film, as a way to give, we would love it!
